Initially, we were going in to make demos before we go into the studio with the producer, but when we finished a couple of songs, Tom and I looked at each other and said 'well, this is gonna be great, let's make a record on our own as we always wanted to do!'.

Discograph, our label in France, is releasing our first record in three European countries: France, Switzerland and Belgium in early 2009.

PERSEPHONE'S BEES ON TV:
Those of you who follow the Showtime series Weeds know that a different band records a version of the theme song, "Little Boxes" by Malvina Reynolds, for every episode. Tune in on October 29 to hear Persephone's Bees' version. The episode will repeat several times - you can view the upcoming schedule at Yahoo! TV for the full schedule and look for the episode called "The Dark Time."
