The last I think I heard was that the CD will be released in September - don't hold me to that though. For the time being you can download the MP3 single from iTunes or get it on the Bewitched Soundtrack. There's also a song called "Sex" which is on a ZIP Records compilation with a lot of California bands on it like the Muffs, the Sleaves, and Anna Waronker. |

Sorry but it seems we'll need to wait a little longer for the CD to come out, the current word I've heard is February of 2006.

Yeah, it's a slight drag, but it is indeed February 2006 at the moment.
The good news is the band are starting to rehearse for live shows in the near future - and there's lots going on, but we're superstitious, so we won't jinx anything by talking about it just yet ...
But for those of you who missed it, the San Francisco Chronicle's Aidin Vaziri recently interviewed the band.

What's really bad is that I live in B.F. nowhere. I'm just gonna have to wait till Feb.
I'll be patient!

Oh, you think you live in nowhere? I live in South Africa, bru. I saw Bewitched earlier today (which was a waste of 14 bucks), but City Of Love just made my day. Makes me think of Cake, Grüvis Malt and a local band called Bed On Bricks all at once. Very, very stylishly done boys and girls, and congrats on landing a spot on the soundtrack!
I'd love to know how the guitarist's rig looks, as I am a rocker myself. (nudge nudge)

I first listened to City Of Love at Pandora.com. I fell in love with the song and then knew that it was on Bewitched soundtrack... Which made me wanna go and watch the movie and I am definately going to buy the Bewitched soundtrack CD. Love Persephone's Bees! |

Yeah! I also listened to City of Love yesterday when I watched Bewitched, and I can say it was the only thing I liked of the movie.
I'm delighted with this song and I'd love to listen to their CD!!
I live in Spain, I hope their album will be able here when they release it.. |

Wow! I think it's great that Persephone's Bees has had so much sucess in Cali, but Bewitched definately gave them some international exposure. I'm a little too far from Cali to make a show, but I'm looking forward to the CD. If City of Love and Nice Day are any indication I think you guys have a great sound! |
